Thai Constellation | An Extremely Rootbound Repotting
Просмотров 8 тыс.3 месяца назад
It's time to repot my Monster Thai Constellation. I can't believe how much it's grown over the past 2 years. It's potted in Lechuza-Pon, a mineral substrate. I'm using a self watering planter. The one it was previously potted in is a Lechuza Delta 20. The current planter is a Lechuza Quadro LS. ➡️ MY AMAZON STOREFRONT: www.amazon.com/shop/leafydiva ➡️ MY SOCIALS: Instagram: leafyd...

Is it crawling in the pot? I thought they climbed ?
The leaves are amazing 😍
This is a wonderful video and you have wonderful, healthy plants ❤ I have three Alocasias: Jacklyn, Black Velvet and Dragon Scale. The easiest is the Jacklyn, it keeps pushing out new growth like crazy and it keeps its leaves. My problem child is my Alocasia Dragon Scale. This guttation is driving me insane. I tried everything: keeping it relatively moist, letting it dry out half way, letting it dry out completely, ... I don't know anymore. It gets enema on its leaves and they yellow and die off. I have it in Lechuza Pon. Anyone, ideas? How do you keep yours happy with the watering in a self watering pot?
She’s Beautiful
Everyone says this. But mine bends easily all the time, including after watering!!
I'm a Home Depot garden associate and we have been selling Proven Winners for a little over a year now. Very cool new plants. I have purchased many 😁🌱💚. All of the ones here have not come by us yet. Please send. Located in central Florida. In a constructive feedback note please don't send anymore rubber trees. All varieties cuz we have several other vendors that carry them cheaper and yours don't sell cuz they are more money and I can't throw them away cuz they are still healthy. But I might have to start to and I really don't want to. You have fabulous plants Love them. Own many.😂
I finally know the difference! Thanks!
No. I dont want a cutting
May i ask a question, ? My amazonica polly has brown tip with aluttle yellow on the side shoukd i cut it off?
Should i cut this leaf? Thank you for your time
Many thanks for sharing your beautiful Hoya with us. You introduced me to a few new ones that I have put on my Wishlist.🥰. For me, I have found that over the years my Hoya did the sleep, creep and leap thing as they acclimated to my environment. Some are faster growers for sure but mostly you’re playing the long game with Hoya. You got some really good deals on the basket plants you showed at the time you purchased them. Very happy for you! Take care! 👌🪴🥰
Every cut of leaves was painful to watch.
You dont know the relief I feel (in my wallet) when someone shows off a new plant and I just hate it. 😂
OMG, I know exactly what you mean! 😂😂😂
How do you prevent crispy leaves?
It’s caused by underwatering and/or low humidity. Those are the things you need to change to stop leaf browning
Butt cut 😂
Butt cuts work? I never knew that. I have a massive monster. I lived in fear of having to move. Now, thanks to you, I have the confidence I will be able to propagate how ever many bits it gets knocked into just getting through all the doorways and down 3 flights of stairs.
Yes! I’m so glad to hear that! ☺️
any cutting will do as long as you have a node where the new leaves can emerge
Lovely Hoyas. Weird that you refer to all these plants as "He/ Him"... even ones with "girl sounding names"😮
I have no rhyme or reason for what gender I assign my plants. Lol I just say it and don’t think about it. I’ve been known to call a plant both he and she in same video without realizing it. Hopefully the plants aren’t offended! 😂😅
This video is older, but I use beneficial mites and I am very happy with them. I used them as a preventive and I have a big collection of Calatheas, Alocasias and Anthuriums, now ongoing three years. I never ever had a spider mite problem. I had the occasional thrip, but they never did more than a few silver lines on the leaves and then they were gone again. So yeah, I buy the satchels every 8 weeks and I am super happy with them
What substrate do you use for your plants? They are so beautiful❤
Did our sad boy on 7:34 get a new pot yet?
He’s still in the same pot! 😭😭😭 Now I feel bad, thanks for reminding me. Lol I’m gonna try and do it this week on a video
Прекрасно! Спасибо ❤❤❤
May i ask what type of soil you use. Fantastic roots
Ikea sell a product called the trixig for £15 which comes with bits for £5 - one of the bits is a Allen bit and I believe it's like an electric Allen key.
I love the plants as well as the information/stories given. ☺️💙🇵🇭
Those variegated money trees have been EVERYWHERE this year, are they new or newly popular?
First video I'm watching of yours and I absolutely love you! (and your gorgeous plants!) You seem to be no-nonsense and really funny (and of course, informational!). Thank you for the tips, I'll know what to do with my new Silver Dragon :D
Where are you Dana? Are you ok???????
What is your wall color please?
Hi 🙋🏻♀️ nice to meet you ❤️ I’m falling in love with your videos 🧿🙌🏼
I love the money tree, but I’m on my third one. I’ve destroyed three and working on my fourth one. I’m not going to give up 😊
I recently bought a dragon scale and her leafs were smaller than my palm. I have no idea how but 2,5 weeks later 2 leafs are bigger that my hand !!! So beautiful
I thought they were Lady Gaga shoes as first 😅 absolutely beautiful plants ❤😂🙏🏽💕
Do alocasias need a lot of humidity? Beautiful plants!!! Thank you for making this video
Thank you for this amazing advice! So tired of all the "Oh, this plant is supposed to drop leaves" stuff I see online. I feel like healthy leaf dropping is only really a thing for outdoor plants, or plants that can be propagated by leaves and are trying to spread (burro's tail). Totally subscribing!
I got so shocked seeing the thumbnail because our hands look exactly the same and I was trying to figure out what IG video it was showing from my channel cuz 🤯
You saw a spider mite crawling across your phone because everytime you feather dust the spider mites off the leaves you are literally FLINGING them all over the room, onto your floor, onto other plants and into the soil below the leaves. You are actually creating a much bigger problem than you realize by opting to gently dust them off instead of killing them. Hopefully you rinse the feather duster before dusting other plants because that’s also a great way to spread pests and disease from plant to plant.
Wow, growth is real 🎉 All in good time
You're doing a great job and an informative channel. What formula are you using when you're spraying your plants?
Just bought my first one thank you for sharing learning so much about them 😊
Does longiloba silver goes dormant as well? Im planning to get another one again
FYI, just discovered your channel. Luv your plant mom situation. I two became a Plant 🪴 Mom during C-19. GOOD luck on your Journey. PS also enjoyed the apartment/ home tour. 😘🦋👌🏾👍🏾🙌🏾🫶🏽
I have every plant that's on your shirt, and I think I got them in that order too🤣♥️
I got one from a big box store mainly because it was 3 bucks it had 4 leaves lost 2 and now it has grown a new one twice the size of the others! One day I hope it will look half as good as yours!
Do you have to wash the pon every so often? How can you recycle the pon?
I can't believe how big that hoya was.
I don’t want too many plants, cause this repot triggered my anxiety 😬
My Swiss cheese monster is getting to be like tall tall and I’m not prepared! I think it looks like you prune and attach the things you cut? Could anybody help me out I accidentally grew this plant this tall I am so underprepared 🥲
I so appreciate your advice! It is fun learning and I’m trying to tell myself that I don’t have to break the bank! Just try stuff, research, and use what I have till I can afford to replace those things with better products! Your plant is my goal!!!
We miss your videos, hope all is okay 😊
Philodendron are my favorite plants to grow. They do really well on my patio. They just grow so fast and inexpensive never once fertilized them. Maybe I should lol
